JCB Smoothshift oil immersed clutch reduces operational effort and is guaranteed against wear for 6000 hours.The three-speed powershift transmission allows rapid up or down shifts to be made without the need for the clutch.Autoshift automatically changes the powershift gear ratio in response to engine load. Autoshift modes mean minimal operator effort when towing a trailer, plowing and using the PTO; with a fifth mode able to be tailored to any individual requirements.JCB Selectronic allows pre-selection of the required range gear, leaving the operator's hands free for more critical operations.The standard plus pack includes a console mounted gear lever for quicker, easier gear changes.
The four link front suspension features a large single center control arm. Redesigned upper arms have greater clearance around the tires on full lock for an improved turning radius.Anti-sway bars control roll stiffness and improve handling for greater safety.Self-leveling rear suspension compensates for the additional weight of implements while also improving traction. Four position spool valves are electronically controlled on machines with the optional Plus Pack, providing the operator with precision control at the touch of a switch.Machines also feature time and flow control via a thumbwheel on the spool control switch.
